Bandits on Friday, attacked Dogon Noma village, Maro Ward in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing two persons, abducting three others and taking away six motorcycles.
The damage was done before the villagers raised the alarm while their community was being attacked by the bandits.
A source who spoke, said the bandits invaded the community in the early hours of Friday with guns and other dangerous weapons and attacked houses and anyone in sight.
According to him, “We have raised the alarm immediately these criminal elements stormed the village. Security men later came and pursued them out of the area.”
He explained that by the time they took the inventory of the damages done to their people and property, they recovered two bodies, while they could not account for three others, lamenting that six bikes were also taken away during the attack.
According to him, they have buried the two persons that lost their lives during the unfortunate incident and appealed to the state government and security agents to help rescue their people that were kidnapped and see what they can do to avoid any future occurrence.
The acting Public Relations Officer for the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Mansir Hassan confirmed the incident.
He said that, “yes, the police are doing all their best to rescue the victims unhurt”.
