The People of Adamawa Northern Senatorial District were assured of a new wave, hope and rebirth of excellent representation at the hallowed Red Chambers of the National Assembly.
The rebirth of new representation will be characterized by innovative ideas to give them a sigh of relief, peace, development, and provision of socio-economic legislative functions.
Hamisu Idris Medugu, a Senatorial aspirant of the people of Adamawa North gave this assurance when he expressed his good intentions to be their servant at the National Assembly as a Senator.
Medugu’s recent declaration when he toured the entire local government areas of the zone, presenting himself as a child of necessity with the good tidings of better tomorrow, told them that the time to work things around in a different way is what will bring different result.
He said getting a new person with a different mindset and manner of approach to leadership, will give birth to better things, leading to a new glory of the constituency.
While on a declaration of interest meeting with the All progressives Congress (APC) party officials of Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Michika, and Madagali local government areas amidst cheering mode, declared support for Medugu’s idea to contest the Senate seat of their zone.
Commendations and appraisal of his political moves were said to win the people’s hearts long ago with the philanthropic activities he has been providing to the people.
Some of the APC wards and local government officials praised Medugu’s idea of being the first person to gather all of them and express interest to represent them in the Senate.
Alhaji Yugudu Abubakar who spoke on behalf of other party officials, said Medugu is a uoung man with a passion to change the narratives in the interest of everyone in the constituency.
Medugu reiterated his total commitment to their service if given the mandate to be their voice at the National Assembly.
Medugu, the Sardauna Duhu in an entourage with his campaign Director-General (DG), Mr. Usman Bukar, alongside hundreds of friends and well-wishers, in company of an unprecedented convoy, toured the five local government areas.
At Gulak, headquarters of Madagali Local Government Area, the Senatorial hopeful in a warm welcome, was accorded good reception as the APC executives of the area under the chairmanship of Alhaji Yuguda Abubakar came out en mass to behold him, a promising child of destiny who they said they have been hearing about.
Medugu was praised as a face of hope for the people, according to his campaign Director General, Usman Bukar, all the while they were experiencing hopeless representation as no one bothered to come back to show gratitude after he or she was elected.
Bukar assured them that Medugu is a unique young man who has seen and done it all before he nursed the ambition of aspiring to be their Senator.
According to him, for many years, Medugu has been a tireless philanthropist, supporting hundreds of women and youth in the area of job creation, acquiring both local and international schools for many of the less privileged around and introducing empowerment programmes to many across the five local government areas.
Comments and eulogies were accorded him by the party executives of the five local government areas, who described him as a detribalized politician with a difference.
Overwhelmed by his declaration and words of hope, they reiterated that he came at the right time to salvage the Northern Zone.
While praying for victory as he embarks on the journey of canvassing votes from the electorate, they assured him of their tremendous support and unflinching cooperation.
His DG campaign, Bukar reiterated the need for them to vote for him at the coming APC primary elections, knowing that he has been tested and trusted, a young man who has been contributing to the development of not only Adamawa North, but the entire state.
He said his reason for deciding to work for Medugu as his campaign director is his disposition of working for the masses as a young man with a heart of gold and high sense of maturity.
In his remarks, during all the five local government areas visited, Medugu said that he is their son and brother, who presents himself for the service of humanity as one of the aspirants, while counting on their votes and soliciting their support.
Medugu while congratulating them for coming victorious at the recently concluded party congresses, assured them of being the man to beat as he has what it takes to represent them at the National Assembly with a mindset of rapid and massive development for the zone.
He assured the youth of massive employment, giving more empowerment to deserving women and also lobbying for developmental projects in the zone.
