As the world celebrates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter, the member representing Ukwuani State Constituency and Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ochor C. Ochor has called on constituents to continue to support the state through their prayers for the continuous economic growth of the local government area and the state.
The Deputy Speaker made the call on Friday April 15, 2022, in his message to celebrate this year’s Easter.
In the statement signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli, Rt. Hon Ochor said that with challenges facing the country, the people must continue to look up to God, through prayers, especially in this season of Easter, which is God’s gift to liberate the world from sin and difficulties.
“My dear constituents, while wishing us the blessings that come with the season of Easter, let us imbibe the virtues of Easter, continue to pray for our council area, and our dear state, Delta.
“The death of our Lord, Jesus Christ is to liberate us from our sins and free us from every form of difficulty. I therefore, implore you to continue to pray to God for our communities, Delta State and our Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, for His spiritual guidance for a better and strong local government and state.
“We need all the prayers for Ukwuani, our Local government, our amiable governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and  the entire state for economic liberation.
“As we celebrate, we should reflect on the virtues of Easter, which is the greatest love for mankind. When we do, God will lift us up economically,” he said.
