ABOC Foundation Distributes Dangote Palliatives To Vulnerable In Nasarawa

A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), the ABOC Foundation  in partnership with the   Nasarawa State Government, has distributed 2,000 bags of 10kg rice provided by the Aliko Dangote Foundation as palliatives to vulnerable people in Wamba LGA of Nasarawa State. 

The ABOC Foundation distributed the rice at the Small London area of Wamba town. 

A total of 1,000 vulnerable persons drawn across the ten (10) Electoral Wards of the area, benefited from the gesture aimed at cushioning the prevailing economic hardship in the country. 

Speaking during the distribution, Alhaji Ahmed Bola Oduleye, the Chief Executive Officer of ABOC Foundation, said the gesture was to complement the efforts of the Government amid the economic hardship as a result of fuel subsidy removal. 

Mr Oduleye reaffirmed the Foundation’s support to the State Government in its efforts towards addressing the humanitarian needs of the people. 

The Aliko Dangote Foundation had recently donated a total of 30,000 bags of 10kg rice as palliative to the State for its vulnerable population. 

The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe announced the donation, noting that each LGAs of the State were allocated 2,000 bags with the exception of Karu and Lafia who were allocated 2,500 bags each.
