Ahead of the forthcoming 2022 Abaji Area Council election, over 400 members of the main opposition
Party , the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today defected to the ruling Party ,All Progressives Congress in Abaji Area Council.
The decampees who was recieved by the APC Chairmanship Candidate ,Hon. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, whose campaign slogan is ” Farar Aniyan 2022″ in MAWOGI Community of Ali/Mamagi Ward ,Abaji Area Council of Federal Capital Territory ,Abuja expressed joy to be part of the Progressives family .
Prominent amongst the over 400 decampees are former PDP councilorship aspirant, Suleiman Abubakar mawugi alongside Elder joshua magaji, Afari Kureje and some PDP strong loyalists in the ward.
Part of reasons they gave for dumping their former party ,PDP is the strong conviction and love for Hon. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi’s unlimited sacrifice to the entire people of Abaji .
According some of the interviewed, the APC Chairmanship Candidate for Abaji Area Council among all contesting for the 2022 Election in Abaji is Hon Abubakar Umar Abdullahi ,who has always been the “dependable voice” of humanity and never a noise.
Honorable. Suleiman Buzer ,the former PDP councillorship flag bearer of Alu Mamagi in his speech said he decided to join APC because his convinced with Honorable. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi kind of leadership and numerous contributions to humanity and plights of the masses in the Society .
Buzer who said Hon .Abubakar Umar Abdullahi is the right man for the seat of Abaji area council chairman , tasked his fellow decampees to work and support the candidacy of Honorable. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi in order to win the February 12 Area Council elections.
In brief remarks while receiving the PDP Decampees , Hon. Abdullahi ,”Farar Aniyan 2022″ assured the new APC members of an open floor for good Governance and fair leadership that will ensure equity , justice and fairness .
However, he also promised to operate an open door policy to the entire people of the society, if giving the mandate come 2022.
