2019: Stakeholders In Dass/Tafawa Balewa/Bogoro Federal Constituency Endorse Buhari, Dogara

All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Dass, Tabawa Balewa and Bogoro federal constituency in Bauchi State, and Friends of Rt. Hon Speaker Yakubu Dogara have endorsed the Speaker and President Buhari for re-election in the 2019 general elections.
Addressing a press conference at Bauchi NUJ Secretariat Monday, the Turaki of Dass who is also the leader of the group, Alhaji Isyaku Suleiman said the decision to endorse Buhari and Dogara was taken after critical and in-depth performance assessment and due consultations with the people in the federal constituency
According to the group, Dogara has performed exceptionally excellent in delivering democracy dividends not only to his constituency but even beyond, thus describing him as a man with professional sagacity, immense insight, and profound intellectual acumen.
“Rt. Hon. Speaker Dogara is an astute administrator, paragon of peace, epitome of Justice, political icon of our time and place, great achiever and a promise deliverer”, said the group.
“We passionately appeal and call on all sons and daughters of Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro who intends to contest for House of Representatives or President of Nigeria to suspend their ambitions and join us to give Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara and Present Muhammadu Buhari another chance in 2019 general elections”.
Suleiman also enumerated some past achievements recorded by Dogara as construction and fully equipped of 25 modern clinics, free health care services for 67,000 patients from Gombe, Yobe, Plateau, Kaduna and Adamawa states, monthly medical bills of over 150 people and different roads projects that transform the landscape of their constituencies.
“Hon Dogara, in th discharge of his constitutional responsibility as a Speaker sponsored the bill of the year for the establishment of North-East Development Commission as his region has been ravage by insurgency”.
He explained that the bill was meant to rehabilitate, reconstruct, recover and redevelop the North East Sub-region, thereby making history as the first ever Speaker to step down from his seat to sponsor a bill which was unanimously supported by all members.
“As our commitment to this noble struggle, in addition to canvassing for vote, we the concerned stakeholders have resolved  to purchase the interest and nomination forms for Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara come 2019 elections”.
“We would beg and persuade to continue, if he refuses, we would force him, if he persistently resist, we would be left with no option rather than to take legal action to compel him to accept our request. After all we are very sure that he will answer our call”, they said.
