NACOMYO Wants Muslim Youth To Refrain From Anti-Social Bahaviours

As the 2019 general elections in the country gathers momentum, Muslim youth have been urged to refrain from allowing themselves to be used as political thugs by selfish politicians.
 
Bauchi State Coordinator of National Council of Muslim Youths Organization (NACOMYO), Dr. Ahmed Sabo made the call during familiarization visits to some media outfits in the state.
 
Also speaking at Daar Communication, Bauchi Centre, Dr. Sabo while expressing concern on the level of youth’s involvement in political thuggery and other anti-social activities, called for attitudinal change by youths in order to gain Allah’s blessings in this world and the hereafter.
 
The Bauchi NACOMYO coordinator who described the group as faith based, said it is aimed at promoting peace among youths and the general public.
 
He therefore called on the media outfit not to relent efforts in playing the desired role for the successful conduct of the forthcoming polls in the state.
 
Responding, the acting Head of Bauchi Centre of Daar Communication, Mrs. Magreat Ogeh, thanked the delegation for the visit and pledged to provide free airtime for the organization to enlighten youths on the need to shun anti-social activities.
 
While at Albarka Radio Bauchi, the Managing Director, Alhaji Musa Waziri Hardawa, said youth organizations play important role towards enlightening the public, particularly youths on their expected roles in the society.
 
He expressed the readiness of the indigenous Radio station towards collaborating with the organization to sensitize youths on how to contribute their quota towards the progress of the state and Nigeria in general.
