Enyimba FC Secures Esuene Stadium As Home Ground

Enyimba FC of Anarchy has finally secured U. J.  Esuene Stadium as its home ground for both CAF/NPFL competitions this season.
This was confirmed by the chairman of the Club Mr. Felix Anyanwu while briefing sports writers association Cross River State chapter.
Enyimba he said “as no problem as it has resolved all lingering crisis over the lease of the Calabar stadium”.
He said “we are very happy that we have succeeded in getting the U. J. Esuene stadium for all our matches this season”.
Anyansi who commended members of SWAN for its support last season in terms of publicity also sued for more as the season has already kick started.
“We as management of the Above based Club appreciate all the constraints your association is facing especially while trying to discharge your official duties and assured that “all hope is not lost”.
“Calabar supporters are wonderful people. They supported massively last season we expect more this season,  he added”.
He commended the Abia state governor, Chief Okezie Ikpeazu for all th  support  and encouragement the Club had received from his government.
Enyimba is working very hard to maintain its present position. We have no reason to complain. We are prepared for both CAF/NPFL season
According to him,  “the Club had beefed up it’s squad as more players have joined the team this season.  We are fully prepared and ready for the competition”.
Anyansi who had commended the Cross River State government for leasing the stadia sued for more cooperation in future.
On what went wrong in the Nigerian football,  he retorted “the world has changed. A lot of countries are putting a lot of investment in football,  but the reverse is the case here in Nigeria”.
Said he ” tell me which average  Club in Nigeria that has a budget of N1 billion.  There is none and this is the problem of our football “.
“There must be a programme to invest in football in this country. Otherwise,  we will not get there and the story will continue to be the same.  We need investment in Nigerian football, he added “.
Earlier,  the chairman,  Cross River State Sports Commission,  Chief Orok Duke,  said the issue of venue for Enyimba FC of Absence has been resolved.
“We shall give them our maximum support in all your engagements while in Calabar,  he added “.
