A People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the seat of Oluyole Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja on Sunday declared that PDP is now the best alternative available for the people of Oyo people.
Princess Adedoja stated this while speaking with journalists shortly after inspecting the PDP secretariat in Oluyole Local Government Area, renovated by her for the political party said the people of Oyo state are already tired of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC).
She maintained that there is now the need for PDP leaders across Oyo state to work together in unity and ensure total victory for the party in the 2019 general elections throughout the state.
The House of Representatives aspirant emphasized that in sustaining unity in Oyo PDP, the recent harmonization of the state’s PDP executives by the national leadership of party should be embraced and not allowed cause any rancour among party leaders in the state.
Speaking further, Princess Adedoja stressed that the main focus of PDP leaders in Oyo state after the successful harmonization of the state executive should be how PDP party would win the 2019 general elections, as the people of the state are already tired of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Commenting on the need for PDP leaders in Oyo State to work together, the Federal House of Representatives aspirant advised that the interest of PDP should be placed above personal interest so as to rescue the people of the state from APC’s misrule.
All the PDP leaders in Oluyole Local Government Area, including the Chairman that graced the meeting includinf Alhaji Mukaila Adegbola, and Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Olaniyan lauded Princess Adedoja for renovating the party Secretariat.
