Thr Kaduna State Government, led by Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, has began payment of N379,609, 055.74 compensation to owners of affected property for the township road construction at Kofar Doka- Prison- Kofar Gidan Malam Yaroti of Ungwan Tanki/Kwarbai Zaria.
The Commissioner of Works Housing and Transport, Hajia Balaraba Aliyu-Inuwa who was at the flag-off of the payment congratulated all the beneficiaries.
The Commissioner also said that this administration is people oriented and determined to deliver on its promise of bringing succour to the populace,
She extended her appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Nasiru Ahmed el-Rufai while assuring that all will be compensated adequately.
The beneficiaries which are a total of 340 were presented with cheques ranging from about N4.8m to N58 thousand Naira each.
