Following tremendous success recorded in its fight against banditry in Zamfara State, the government has announced plans to open access to telecoms services before this week ends.
Zamfara State Commissioner of Information, Honourable Ibrahim Dosara expressed this, while interacting with newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday September 30, 2021.
“Government considering to open up mobile network services in the state capital this week,” he said.
The commissioner said that the Zamfara State Government is not happy about hardship the network shutdown caused, stressing that the move was taken because it was for the greater good.
He explained that in view of that, the Governor Muhammad Bello Matawalle-led government has provided palliatives to the people of the state.
“Another success we recorded is the support we received from the people of Zamfara State.
“The people supported and prayed for the government to succeed.
“It is in view of that, the Government decided to present relief items to the people,” he said.
