Action continue in the ongoing organized, Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON ), 15th edition of Chief of Naval Staff U-14 Boys and 7th edition of Naval officers Wives Association (NOWA), for U-17 Girls Football Tournament with group matches to be decided simultaneously today, at both the Old Parade ground of Area 10 and playing ground of the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC), Kuje Abuja.
In the first Quarter finals match, Plateau will take on FCT, As Oyo slug it out with their counterparts from Benue.
Other Quater Final pairings are Kogi vs Ondo, Kwara vs NOWA Secondary School, Abuja, Kaduna vs Enugu, Osun vs Delta and Edo vs Nasarawa.
Meanwhile, the Quater and Semi final matches come up on Thursday and Friday respectively.
In his reaction, President YSFON, Dr. Nasiru Gawuna has hailed the good turn out of the teams saying the federation will not relent in giving the best for the development of sports in the country particularly football.
“But for our sponsor Naval, we are indeed grateful to them for resuscitating the tournament” Gawuna explained.
