Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of aides to the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf.
It was made known in a statement signed by Yabagi Mohammed,
Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Lokoja.
“Those whose appointments have been approved have also begun to receive their Letters of Appointment.
“To this end, Hon Isah Umar Lawal is the Chief of Staff to the speaker, with Hon Jiya Aliyu Abdulkadir to serve as the Special Adviser on legislative matters while Hon Salisu Datti is the Chief Protocol Officer,” it stated.
Also appointed according to the statement, are Hon Mohammed Isiaku Mohammed, Hon Abdullahi Usman, Hon Usman Aliyu, Hon Yusuf Obareku Abubakar, Hon Sunday Ocheni and Hon Omoine Ohunene Mahjeedat who are all Senior Special Assistants to the speaker.
It went further to state that, Hon Abubakar Badaru Muhammed is the new Personal Assistant.
