Ambassador Tsoken announced that APC-IGG has fully recognised the services rendered by many prominent personalities across the six-geo political zones in Nigeria and those who contributed immensely towards the success of APC, citing example of his Excellency, Senator George Akume , who is a grassroots politician of high repute.
In his words, ” Akume served as a proficient civil servant to the rank of permanent secretary, and his remarkable services to his people earned him to be voted by the people of Benue State where he served two terms of eight years as governor, three terms as Senator, just like the President and Vice President Elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima.
“Currently, Akume is the present Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, who the APC-IGG recognises as an active supporter and a dogged fighter for democracy.”
He added that Akume has done great service by giving tremendous contributions for Tinubu in his state and the recent powerful message tagged: “THE PATRIOTIC VOICE OF NORTHERN CHRISTIAN MINORITIES” which captured the mind of many Christians to vote for Tinubu, most expecially in Benue State and many other state across the country.
Ambassador Tsoken also, called for replication of the same gesture on Saturday March 18, 2023.
