Katsina State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has promised to invest more resources to the agricultural sector through the establishment of industries for the processing of farm inputs to support creation of job opportunities in the state.
The party’s gubernatorial candidate, Senator Garba Yakubu Lado Danmarke made the promised during his campaign rally at Batsari Local Government Area.
According to him as the state is blessed with suitable land for farming, his administration would focus on boosting agriculture to ensure food security as well as boosting socio-economic status of people.
In their separate remarks, the party’s state Director General campaign Council Senator Umar Tsauri and Director General for Atiku/Lado Campaign Council Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, reminded the people on the various developmental projects executed by the party.
Earlier the state party chairman, Alhaji Lawal Magaji Danbachi commended the people of the area for supporting the party saying that this is a clear testimony of party’s victory in the forthcoming General elections.
