A two-day validation exercise of Katsina State Statistical Master Plan has been opened in Katsina.
The validation exercise is organized by the State Bureau of Statistics under Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
The event was attended by Directors from various ministries in the state.
Acting Director General of Katsina State Bureau of Statistics Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Kangiwa said the exercise would serve as an avenue for the professionals to assist the bureau in producing accurate and reliable statistical master plan for the state.
He explained that, the statistical master plan was developed with a view to improving quality, and further develops the state statistics and information system.
Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Kangiwa expressed the determination on the Bureau to liaise with MDAs in Katsina to produce a booklet on facts and figures of Katsina State.
The acting Director General urged the participants to contribute to enable the Bureau produce accurate, authentic and reliable statistics master plan for the state.
