University Students Hail Uba Sani Over Appointment Of Colleagues, Friends

By; JACOB ONJEWU DICKSONThe National Association of University Students (NAUS),  North West has commended the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani over what they described as fulfilment of campaign promises to them, by appointing their colleagues, friends and other competent hands into his cabinet.

This was expressed in a statement signed by the 

National Vice President of (NAUS NW), Comrade Dayyabu Abubakar Saddiq aka JC Abu Saddeeq, made available to newsmen in Kadunà yesterday.

“I would like to seize this opportunity to express my sincere and categorical appreciation to our leader, mentor, father, advocate for students’ welfare, and promise keeper – His Excellency,  Senator Uba Sani, the people’s Executive Governor of Kaduna State.

“He has not only fulfilled part of his campaign promises, but has also demonstrated his commitment to the students by appointing our colleagues, friends, and leaders to significant positions within his administration. 

“The appointment of Comrade Amina Bello as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Students Matters, Comrade Bello Hayutu as Special Assistant on (Students Matters), and Comrade  Sakina Garba as Special Assistant on Non-Governmental Organizations, is highly received with great applaud and appreciation,” they said. 

According to them, this extraordinary appointment signifies the governor’s dedication to an all-inclusive government, as it is the first of its kind in Kaduna State in recent times.

“Through this action, His Excellency has shown his unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of students and instilling hope in the hearts of Kaduna state students. 

“Despite the economic hardships and the escalating university fees, we are grateful for his efforts in putting smiles on the faces of students. We eagerly anticipate even more remarkable achievements.

“Additionally, we applaud and commend His Excellency for intervening and rescuing the Ahmadu Bello University students during the recent power outage. It is noteworthy that Kaduna State has a large number of students, and his prompt action is highly appreciated,” they stressed.

Furthermore, they appealed to His Excellency to prioritize scholarship payments, as many students would greatly benefit from this support.

“On behalf of all our members and stakeholders, I pledge our unwavering loyalty and support to His Excellency and fervently pray for resounding success in his administration.

“Lastly, I cannot conclude without expressing my gratitude to our supportive leaders, whose dedication, commitment, and unwavering support have made this achievement possible. 

“I specifically appreciate Hon. Hayatu Usman Mazadu, the Jagaban of youth and students, and Comr. Dominic Philip (AVM), a powerful stakeholder. I also extend my thanks to my brothers and fellow leaders in struggle, Comr. Abdulhamid Babs and Comr. Muhammad Taha Umar. May God bless you all abundantly.

“In conclusion, while we pray for God’s wisdom upon His Excellency, we earnestly urge him to uphold and sustain the peace we currently enjoy across the state,” they said.
