Buratai Academy defeated Gimzsoca of Jigawa State 5-1 on Wednesday, to move up to 11 points, where they are tied with Gee-lec Fc on goal differential (6 in Buratai Academy’s favour, 5 in Gee-lec FC’s favour).
TY Buratai Academy has had a standout season after recovering from last season’s heartbreaking play-off loss to secure promotion, making their first-ever return to the top division just one year after the team’s founding in 2021.

In an interview, coach of the team, Alhaji Ahmadu Bello described the players performance as outstanding.
“It feels wonderful. The team, led by Sarkin Yaki, did an outstanding job. From beginning to end, everything they did was done correctly. The way they play, how they challenge and pursue opponents.
“The supporters are ecstatic for everyone connected to the TY Buratai Football Academy since they have done everything so brilliantly,” the coach said.
