Three Traditional Rulers Die In Auto Crash In Orire

A ghastly auto crash on Friday, claimed three traditional rulers from Orire Local Government area of Oyo State.
New Nigerian learnt that the three traditional rulers Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula, and Alayetoro of Ayetoro, died in the auto crash which occured along  Arinkinkin area of Ogbomoso.
It was gathered that the traditional rulers met their untimely death while going to the funeral party of the mother of a brother to a traditional ruler in the area.
Sources said trouble started when the vehicle in which the traditional rulers were traveling rammed into an oncoming truck during the trip.
According to sources, the Olodogbo of Odogbo was said to have died on the spot, while the two others died later.
A source at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, added that  their bodies have been deposited at the hospital’s morgue.
It was learnt that the fourth victim, who sustained injuries, is being treated at the hospital, “but he doesn’t look like an Oba,”
Contacted, Oyo State FRSC Sector Commander, Mr Joshua Adekanye confirmed the accident, saying, “we just carried out to rescue but we don’t know who they are”.
Mr Adekanye said four persons were in the vehicle but only three of them died.
