Thousands Throng Tudun Wada Burial Ground To Bid Chanchangi Farewell As His Remains Laid To Rest

Thousands of sympathisers on Wednesday flooded the Tudun Wada Burial ground in Kaduna to pay their last respect to Alhaji Ahmadu Chanchangi, a philanthropist and Chairman, Chanchangi Airlines.

The Taraba-born, Kaduna-based billionaire died along Kaduna-Abuja road while on the way to a hospital in Abuja at the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to family source.

Speaking about the late Ahmadu, his younger brother, Nadabo Chanchangi, said has was not just a good man but a hope to so many lives around him.
He explained that the late Ahmadu left behind 2 wives and 34 children and died at the age of 85 years.

On his part, Bello Chanchangi, who spoke on behalf of his elder brother, Rufai Chanchangi, describes their father as a philanthropist who has affected some many lives in his host community.

“My father is a good man and any one who has met him can attest to the kind of person he is. He renders help to any one who comes to him without trying to find out who the person is”.

The late Ahmadu Chanchangi, has since been buried according to Islamic right.
