Thousands Of Kano NNPP Members Defect To  APC

Bichi Local Government Council chairman, Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Sabo   recently received thousands of New NIgeria People’s Party (NNPP) members that decamped to APC in Bichi Local Government  Area, in a colourful ceremony held at Sabo Town.

Speaking at the occasion, the decampees announced that they dumped NNPP Kwankwasiyya because  of what  the All Progressives Congress (APC) is doing on ground, which is a testimony that the party  can be  reelected in the 2023 general elections.

Furthermore, the decampees disclosed that from what is happening in Nigeria as a nation, APC’s manifesto is purely for  national development, despite the economic situation which is a global issue.

They further gave  an example on how the council chairman, Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Sabo  and the member representing Bichi Local Government at the  House of Representatives, Engineer Abubakar Kabir Abubakar  are trying their  best towards improving the lives of the people of all categories.

“We decamped to APC because Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Sabo and Engineer Abubakar Kabir Abubakar remain very committed to ensuring that we benefit more from the dividends of democracy especially rural and urban development, youth and women empowerment, education and promoting self-reliance”. They concluded.

In his speech, the executive chairman of Bichi Local Government Area, Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Sabo announced that the local government council and the member representing Bichi Federal Constituency are working selflessly to bring  development to the area as one of the best  and populous emirate councils in Kano State. 

He assured the new decampees that APC is one family and they are now members of the party like every member.

He congratulated them for joining the winning train before the 2023 general elections.

The decampees from Badume and Yallami wards came from Sabo, Yalleman, Santar Inji, Yola and other parts of the local government area, while most of those who had a chat with our correspondent, said that they joined APC because Dr. Yusuf Sabo and Engineer Kabir Abubakar as well as all the stakeholders remain serious in the service of  humanity in the local government area.
