*Says no Nigerian life lost so far

A total of 1,471 Nigerians stranded in Sudan have been evacuated back to the country by the Federal Government.
New Nigerian gathered that the stranded Nigerians were evacuated from Sudan in seven batches so far.
According to sources at the Inter Ministerial committee responsible for the evacuation, the 6th and 7th batches of Evacuees: 424 Nationals that departed Aswan International Airport, Egypt, landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 12:30 pm local time on May 7 as well as Tarco and Azman Airlines respectively.
The Inter Ministerial committee gave breakdown of those already evacuated to Nigeria as 376 in the first and second batches among others
” First and Second Batch
Military Jet C13 ~ 99 people
AirPeace Fight ~ 277 (Total 376) and 3rd Batch – Tarco Air ~ 130.
Others are ” 4th Batch – Tarco Air ~ 131, 5th Batch – MaxAir ~ 410
6th Batch – Tarco Air ~ 102
7th Batch – Azman Air 322″
The sources stressed further, ” we await the arrival of Air Peace later.
The good news is, no Nigerian life has been lost so far”.
