As the Ganduje administration is coming to an end, it is now the right time to settle the beneficiaries still waiting to receive gratuities for long, especially when the 2023 general election is drawing nearer.
Pensioners waiting for their long awaited gratuities would like to receive their benefits to cater for themselves and families, following the difficult times being faced.
According to some retirees, pensioners are now suffering without payment, especially those awaiting gratuities.
Some are said to be sick, some have been sent packing from houses where they rented, while others are struggling to feed their families.
They added that the administration which squandered the pensioners funds by constructing some edifices that they alleged are of no benefit to them, are left without finding alternatives to pay the said gratuities, while the present administration has failed to try and reduce the number of those waiting to be settled.
In this respect, all those who had chats with our correspondent, appealed to the Ganduje administration to try and settle or reduce the high number of pensioners waiting for gratuities in order to enable them ensure more success to the ruling party at both levels.
