All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in Kano are canvassing for the resolution of the current crisis rocking the party before the forthcoming national congress slated for February 5, 2022.

Speaking to our correspondent in Kano, some members of the party from both warring sides lamented that the crisis would be resolved because all the top ranking personalities in the party would not feel satisfied when the rift continues towards the 2023 general elections.

Malam Murtala Usman from Kano municipal said that, ” we are certain that what is happening at our great party is very disappointing because all those who are involved the rift are the party’s chieftains that are having differences, therefore it is important for our leaders to intervene and bring an end to the rift before the forthcoming national Congress,” he emphasized.

Similarly, Alhaji Garba Aminu from Takai Local Government Area called on the national executives of the party to wade into the internal crisis rocking the party not only in Kano, but at all the states where they are having the related leadership tussle because that party needs collective responsibility to win the 2023 general elections for continuity.

In her remarks, Hajiya Rahinatu Aliyu from Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area called on the two factions to resolve the ongoing rift amicably for the party to plan strategies that can guarantee victory in the party in Nigeria.

She assured that the leadership tussle would soon become a history before the national convention.
