In an era when proven leadership prowess is critical, technocrats often reign supreme, wielding their intellectual prowess and guaranteeing to possess the keys to progress, good governance, vibrant and visionary leadership, result-oriented governance; which is crucial for qualitative policies, programs, projects and interventions that is set to be enacted, commissioned and represented by Government at all levels.
Hence, the new Kaduna State Government is on top gear to deliver the mandate of setting the path way to the Sustain Kaduna legacy.
However, it is crystal clear that the signals are extremely good for the administration of Governor Mal Uba Sani and; hence the need to exercise strategic focus, reflect temperance and diversify course positively, it is also clear that Kaduna state is finding itself in a greater limelight under Sen Uba Sani’s administration and combination of Prof. Ayuba Bello as the Principal Private Secretary (PPS), heading the Accounting operations of the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna State is not only strategic but result-oriented.
In view of the limelight above, the good people of Kaduna state are cognizant of the positive expectations from Governor Mal Uba Sani-led administration to deliver good governance, hence the need to get it right with the choice of leaders especially in the state executive arm of government to ensure a system that works towards achieving sustainable growth and development for the Sustain Kaduna Agenda.
The appointment of Prof. Ayuba Bello is a demonstration of expertise in leadership recruitment as an Illustrious public servant, well deserved, considering his excellent pedigree, antecedents, and knowledge in public administration who is entrusted to provide Personal and Administrative support to the State Governor and to coordinate Interactions of Administrative Communication with various MDAs and other Organisations on behalf of the State Government.
Professor Bello Ayuba, a distinguished Professor of Business Management from the prestigious Abuja University is coming onboard with many National and International achievements to his credit; and hails from the most cosmopolitan Zaria local government, as a career journalist, with an impressive track record in the field of journalism before joining the academia, had served as the Bureau Chief of Today’s Newspaper and chaired the Bauchi State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) among others.
In addendum, he held various positions at the University of Abuja, including Director Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL&CE), Head of the Department of Business Administration; Deputy Dean of the School of Post Graduate Studies, Director, University of Abuja Ventures Limited; and also, the Editor-in-Chief, Abuja Journal of Business and Management (AJBAM) and Member, Editorial Review Board, Journal of American Academic Research (JAAR), U.S.A.
His membership in numerous professional associations and organizations such as Fellow of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (FBDFM); Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC); Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development (FIPMD); Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration (FCAI) of Nigeria; Member, Academy of Management (U.S.A); Member, Academy of International Business (U.S.A); Member, European Centre for Research and Training (U.K); Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM); Member, The Academy of Management Nigeria (TAMN) and Member, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) among others further highlights his expertise and commitment to excellence.
Therefore, it is laudable that Governor Uba Sani is harnessing the power of interdisciplinary collaboration and draw upon the expertise of various stakeholders, including educators, and relevant professionals by fostering a political environment with diverse perspectives converge, who can create policies that holistically address the intertwined challenges and opportunities faced by the state.
His public service experience in teaching, educational consultancy and feasibility studies particularly, in marketing-related studies and renewable energy systems will of no doubt complement Sen. Uba Sani’s outstanding record of performance/achievements in both private and public service delivery, necessary to move Kaduna to a sustainable hub for peaceful and prosperous destination of choice.
Moreover, Governor Uba Sani is on a mission to chart the path to peace, unity and progress for the next four years with his SUSTAIN manifesto; which is people oriented, tangible, measurable; which is centered on Safety and Security, Upgrade of Infrastructure, Strengthening institutions, Trade and Investment, Agriculture, Investment in Human Capital and Nurturing Citizens Engagement.
Indisputably; the new administration is coming on board with absolute commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the young men and women, through strategic empowerment initiatives which is critical to the sustenance and the security of kaduna state, human capital development includes a focus on social welfare and liberating empowerment through dedicated funds for women and youths, robust social investment programmes for vulnerable persons and extensive Pro-poor interventions, captured as government-people contract.
In conclusion, our dynamic Governor and his team are ready and prepared to build on the achievements recorded so far to accomplish more for the good people of Kaduna. The administration stands ready to further support the creativity, the entrepreneurial impulse and the immense human capital of our people for sustainable development.
It’s our prayers that Kaduna state under Gov. Uba Sani’s watch, shall continue to deploy the machinery of government for its most noble purpose: making lives better.
