Kaduna based Islamic cleric, Shaikh Ahmed Abubakar Gumi has lost his mother who passed away on Sunday evening.
The bereaved Islamic scholar announced her death via his verified facebook page, adding that she would be buried at Unguwan Sarki Muslim Cemetery according to Islamic regulations.
The retired army officer and medical doctor solicited prayers for the deceased from his Facebook friends and followers.
The nonagenarian, New Nigerian learnt, died at about 5:30pm in the family home at Abakpa GRA in the state capital.
