The Oyo State chapter of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), on Sunday Oyo State Chapter on Sunday congratulated the NUJ National President, Comrade Chris Isiguzo on his conferment of a new Chieftaincy title in Ezeokwe kingdom, Ibagwa Nike community, Enugu East Local Government Area.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Oyo NAWOJ Secretary, Comrade Stella Oyebanji, stated that the honour on the NUJ President is befitting and an attestation to his laudable contributions to the society.
Oyo NAWOJ stressed that Chief Isiguzo ” is being honoured and recognised for his immense contributions to National Development is a source of pride to us”.
” We wish to state that the national body of our union, the NUJ has not had it so good like this before now. Indeed, that the President is being honoured and recognised for his immense contributions to National Development is a source of pride to us”, it said..
” NAWOJIANS in Oyo state hereby thank the Igwe in Council, elders and youths of Ezeokwe community for the historic recognition bestowed on our President and we pray that God will grant the community blessings, development and peace”.
It stressed further, ” Oyo NAWOJ is proud of our President, Comrade Chris Isiguzo. We wish you more successes as you move our great union to enviable heights always”
