*says governorship election not child’s play

All Progressives Congress ( APC) Presidential aspirant and a national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, tasked Senator Teslim Folarin as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2023 general election to reconcile all the aggrieved party leaders and members.
Asiwaju Tinubu while addressing APC delegates from Oyo State, specifically charged Senator Folarin to without wasting time, embark on reconciliation moves within the party ahead the 2023 general election.
The APC Presidential aspirant stressed that governorship election is not a child’s play, as such, there is the need for Senator Folarin to visit the aggrieved APC leaders’ houses, even at midnight, to reconcile and forge unite ahead of general elections.
Asiwaju Tinubu emphasized that while Senator Folarin has to work, walk , APC leaders in the state on their part should help him to pacify all aggrieved members for the party to come out victorious in 2023 general elections.
Assuring Oyo APC delegates and party leaders of his determination to come back on behalf of Senator Folarin to talk to the aggrieved members on the need to sheath their sword, Asiwaju Tinubu said he will also be coming back to Ibadan to raise the hands of Senator Folarin as the APC governorship candidate in Oyo state.
” You have to work, walk, even with touch light and lantern to appeal to leaders, women, youths and aggrieved members so that we can win governorship in 2023. After you have done that, I will come back to raise your hands up and campaign for you to emerge victorious”, he said.
Asiwaju Tinubu added, ” You will first come and meet me in Abuja and I will also invite all warring party members to appeal to them on your behalf”.
Speaking, Senator Folarin said he would remain grateful for what Tinubu has done for him and reciprocate that during the Presidential primary, saying Oyo delegates are for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
With Asiwaju Tinubu during his visit to Ibadan includes Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Borno Governor, Senator Kasim Setthima, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Hon Bosun Oladele, Honourable Rotimi Makinde, Senator Rilwan Soji Akanbi, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, and Wasiu Eshinlokun.
The APC Presidential aspirant later raised the hands of Adedapo Lam-Adesina; Idris Ajimobi and Olamiju Alao-Akala, APC candidates in Ibadan North East/South East; Ibadan Southwest 2 and Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire federal constituency, soliciting support for them.
