Over 100 certificates were presented to participants of the TEWORH Foundation Award Ceremony of its maiden edition of Soccer ‘N’ Street (Kolon Layi), held at the Gusau Institute Kaduna on December 30, 2021.
Speaking during his welcome address, the Founder/CEO TEWORH Foundation, Alhaji Suraj Abdulwahab Olaniyi thanked all for their support in making the event a huge success.
“We can do a lot together, thank you for being there. May Allah reward you all,” he prayed.
Delivering the keynote address, ex international, Mr Andy Andishu said that sports, especially football, brings peace to communities.
In her goodwill message, member of the Board of Trustees (BoT), TEWORH Foundation, Hajiya Aisha Yakubu said that the foundation is willing to support the children discovered on the streets with the necessary skills development.
“But for you to be successful, you have to put in individual hard work,” she charged the kids.
In his remarks, Alhaji Murtala told the kids that they are lucky to be groomed by TEWORH Foundation.
“I am sure that some of you will become professional sportsmen.
“While you are putting a lot of attention in the football, concentrate on other skills that you have
“Some of you can be journalists, doctors and other professions,” he said.
