Governor Seyi Makinde and members of the Olubadan in Council on Saturday in Ibadan met behind closed door on the appointment of a new Olubadan of Ibadan.
Addressing journalists after the closed door meeting, the Osi Olubdan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rasidi Ladoja hinted that all controversies surrounding the Chieftaincy and Enthronement of the next Olubada of Ibadanland have been resolved.
According to High Chief Ladoja, at the meeting of the Olubadan in Council with Governor Seyi Makinde, an agreement has been reached on some of the grey areas on the emergence of a new Olubadan.
High Chief Ladoja however affirmed the candidature of Otun Olubadan of Ibadan Land, High Chief Lekan Balogun as the next Olubadan of Ibadan.
He emphasized that Ibadan high chiefs have resolved their differences and very united to install Chief Balogun as the next Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Other members of the Olubadan in Council at the meeting included High Chief Lekan Balogun, High Chief Owolabi Olakuleyin, High Chief Gbadamosi Adebimpe, and High Chief Eddy Oyewole.
