A group whose brand name is popularly known as `Kamisafe’ has tasked corps members to embrace entrepreneurship for self reliance  after their service year, urging  them to acquire social skills and self confidence which will open opportunities for their survival.

The group  also said that welfare, making life easy and happiness of mankind are  their top priority.

The Country Manager of Kamisafe who also doubles as the Global Digital Marketer, Mr. Mbam Goodluck Ebenezer  gave the advice during the NYSC Variety Night designed for the 2023 Batch ‘A’ Stream ‘II’ Corps members at  Permanent Orientation Camp, MacGregor College, Afikpo North LGA of  Ebonyi State.

He said  that the motivating factors in their company are safety, welfare and happiness of every human being, which is their utmost  priority.

Mr. Mbam therefore, enjoined the corps members to have self confidence, acquire skills, utilize every opportunity in their way that will make them global entrepreneurs and employers of labour.

He further explained that he had similar opportunity in camp, which he utilized very well and today, with the support and sponsorship of Kamisafe, many schools and NYSC camps across the country have benefited enormously from the products of their company such as: rechargeable torch lights, solar panels, standing fans, hand fans; energy bulbs, among others.

“I have two things that are motivating factors: one is that my company has safety, welfare and happiness of every human being as its priority and that is why we remain in the business of making life easy and enjoyable for all mankind.

“Our products are affordable and that is why you see that we  develop, produce and distribute arrays of alternative energy which tend to put or make energy available to all house holds, including the poorest of the poor, in the remotest hinterland. This is why when we see people happy, we get some satisfaction.

“We are the most youth friendly company because if you look at the background of our products, there is no student that can say he or she  will do away with them. Consider the implication of a student having exams tomorrow and not having light to read. Kamisafe provides an easy and alternative power supply for students and every other person to read.

“When I was a corps member, I had similar opportunity in camp and I know the role it played in my life. This is why my company goes to schools or NYSC camps like this to put smiles on the faces of the youth as well as the staff that made it possible for them to have successful camping here.

“This is why you see that all hierarchy of authority here, went home with a prize. Also, we  try to encourage people to develop confidence, and this is why every contestant here was able to go with a consolation prize.

According to Mr. Mbam, the company which was founded in 2004 in China , has lasted for two decades and  has branches across the globe, including Nigeria.

“These products have lasted for over two decades. It was founded in 2004, not just in Nigeria, it is a global brand. In every part of the world, our products are known for their super quality because when you talk of the battery, from A to Z that we produce, we do give it the best touch. The capacity of all our products when charged, will last for a long duration, and this is why our products are purely patent, we developed them by ourselve. So, in terms of quality, ours are the best,” he boasted.

Also speaking, the NYSC state Coordinator, Mrs. Bamai Mercy noted that the variety night activities are part of the camp orientation course programmes.

The state Coordinator who was represented by the Camp Director, Mr. Ngwoke Nwokoro  explained that the event was packaged and sponsored by the marketing manager of  Kamisafe in Nigeria, saying that the variety night is quite interesting and unique.

“This variety night is the climax of all the social events in the camp, we started with  dance and drama competitions. They are part of the camp orientation course programmes, I observed that the corps members were quite excited unlike in the past, and the event was well packaged and powered by Kamisafe,” she said.

The variety night featured various cultural troops presentations , beauty pageant and Mr. Macho Competition.

On beauty pageant, Miss. Peace Adoga of Platoon 7, took first position, while Miss. Stephanie Adeshoga of Platoon 2, took second position respectively.

Also, Taofeek Ibrahim of Platoon 2, took first position as the strongest man in camp (Mr. Macho).
