The National President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Mr Titus Amba has congratulated the Etsu Chikun, His Royal Highness, Chief Ishaku Yari on his elevation and presentation of first class staff of office by the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mall Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai.
In a statement made available to journalists in Kaduna, the NUT national president said the emergence of HRH Yari as the Etsu Chikun is a welcome development considering his track record of patriotism and love for his people.
He described the Etsu Chikun as a man with pedigree of knowledge, wisdom and the capacity to defend his people.
The NUT national president also urged the good people of Chikun Local Government Area to support him and prayed for God’s guidance on the part of the monarch for societal development.
Mr Titus Amba further prayed for God’s divine wisdom and long years of reign for the Gbagyi monarch, while also wishing him the Almighty’s protection.
