The Northern Consensus Movement (NCM) has frowned at a publication purportedly carried out by one of its directors without the consent of the entire group.
In a rejoinder signed by NCM’s
Secretary General, distanced Kabiru Garko, the group explained that it’s Director Project, Yusuf Garba has been sacked.
“This is to inform the general public that, the Management of Northern Consensus Movement NCM has distanced itself from a publication on May, 22, 2023 regarding thread with caution the issue of former Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State and EFCC which some of our Directors impersonated the identities of our organization in carrying out such unlawful act.
“They are Director Project and Organisation Yusuf Garba. The NCM has since withdrawn its membership from the Director Project Organisation Yusuf Garba as found guilty of such behavior, while Director Youths and Organisation were found not guilty after the investigation on the matter.
“The NCM will never be party to any illigal activities in the country,” it said.
