President of the NIgeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod was a cynosure as he chairs two out of the 41 Sports Associations inaugurated by the Kadunà State Government on Tuesday.
At the colorful ceremony held at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna, Nimrod was announced as chairman of the Kadunà State Beach Soccer and Volleyball associations.
In an interview with newsmen after the inauguration, Engineer Nimrod said that the inauguration was timely, to afford associations to adequately prepare ahead of the National Sports Festival (NSF), billed for Delta State later in the year by November.
He vowed that the chairmen of the associations will immediately swing into action to make Kaduna State proud at the NSF.
Others inaugurated were, Alh. Muhammed I. Danladi (Fives), Mr. Ayo Ogundele (Judo), Engr. Namadi Muh’d Musa (Gymnastics),Abubakar Wada (Ayo), Sir. Donatus Idogbe (Scrabble) and Col. Ibrahim Hassan Biu rtd (Golf)
Also inaugurated were, Joel Adi (Tennis), Alh. Yahuza Ilu (Kokawa), Engr. Silas Joseph (Handball), Alh. Aliyu Yakasai (Para-power-lifting), Mr. Luigi De Rossi (Karate) and Maj. Danladi Ahmed (Taekwondo).
Similarly, Dr. Alex Mana Sule(Roller-skating), Dr. Wing Commander C.L. Wandeo rtd (Tug of War), Engr. Simon Obadiah Nkom (Hockey), Alh. Mohammed Shuaibu Suleiman (Athletics), Mr. Patrick Ishaya (Deaf Sports), Mohammed Idris Garba (Langa), Halima Usman Yoman (Canoeing, Rowing & Kayak), Hon. Shehu Adamu (Baseball & Softball), Alh. Suleiman Sabo Sarkin Fawa(Danbe) and Yahaya Maikori(e-Sports).
Also inaugurated were, Ayandibu Femi Olarenwaju (Boxing), Mr. Sunday Adeleye (Cycling), Prof. Dr. Yahaya A. Ukwenya (Cricket), Prince Shehu Ahmed Rufai (Wu-shu Kungfu), Sani Katu SAN (Table Tennis) and SQ. Ldr. AG Nuhu rtd (Shooting).
Alh. Usman G. Dauda (Swimming), Animashaun Tony (Darts), Alh. Sheriff Balogun (Squash Racket), Umar Sale Coach (Kick-boxing), Alh.
