Kano Central Senatorial Candidate under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Abubakar Nuhu Danburan has assured that the party is heading to victory in the next coming general elections as Nigerians are eager to flush out All Progressives Congress (APC) government which came and destroyed all the development of the nation.
Dr. Abubakar Nuhu Danburan who was a Commissioner in Kano State during Kwankwaso’s second term and also a former Kano Municipal Local Government National House of Assembly member, said that ruling party has failed because all the opportunities they got to bring development to the nation was wasted, adding that they only brought setback.
He said in terms of security, before they came to power, they were attacking PDP Government then of not tackling the problem of Boko Haram but now, the security problems in the country have been expanded to every region in Nigeria, which he described as worrisome.
“What is happening is lack of security. Always, there is killing of innocent people, the situation is becoming more hopeless.
The next coming government which we hope is PDP, will work tireless to bring back peaceful atmosphere to the country because the presidential flag bearer of PDP, Atiku Abubakar knows the country better as he served as vice president to Obasanjo for good eight years, everyone knows he is a person who has experience in administration and will bring to an end of the problem,” he said.
Dr. Danburan explained that Atiku Abubakar assured recently that in his first 100 days in office, he would give priority to tackling insecurity.
“It is Unfortunate in this administration after the breakdown of Kuje prison up to date, no report that identifies the attackers and escaped inmates,” he said.
He pointed out that the effort made by Senate members to impeach President Buhari already came in too late because they ought to have started process of impeachment of the president since two years ago.
“They now want to show Nigerians they are working, while they are doing nothing for the development of masses.The hope now is for Buhari to conclude the remaining days of his tenure to vacate the office,” he said.
He recalled that PDP administration in Kano State performed well through the manifesto of the party.
