*Says Nigerians suffering despite enormous resources

The President of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Oladele has declared that Nigeria needs righteous people in positions of authorities for Nigerians to stop suffering.
Pastor Oladele said this on Saturday, while addressing journalists during the thanksgiving which was part of activities for the final burial of the founder of CAC Oke Agbara, Ashi, Ibadan, Pastor Michael Ojo Olowere.
Lamenting that Nigerians are suffering despite enormous resources, the President of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas said, “there is no reason for Nigerians to suffer if we have righteous people as leaders”.
Emphasizing that Nigerians have no business with suffering if people with good character are in power,
Pastor Oladele maintained that Nigeria is blessed with enormous resources but that Nigerians may continue to suffer until righteous people are in positions of authorities.
“Righteousness exalts a nation and the preachers are those who preached righteousness. Nigeria is blessed with enormous resources, but see where we are today”, he said .
Pastor Oladele added, “We should have no business with suffering from poverty but because there is no righteousness in the country.
“Preachers, pastors, and prophets are those who preached righteousness, they are the ones that tell their members you must go out to demonstrate that we are the light of the world and salt of the earth”.
Pastor Oladele stressed, “And when they behave and act righteously then we will begin to see the fruits of righteousness and that makes the preachers the very pillar and the power behind every nation”.
The thanksgiving service was held at the main bow of Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba Ibadan.
Among dignitaries at the service were a former governor of Ekiti state, Chief Segun Oni, former President of CAC, Pastor Abraham Akinosun, General Evangelist of CAC, Pastor Hezekiah Oladeji, presiding Bishop of Victory International Church, Ibadan, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun, Lady Evangelist Racheal Olowere and Pastor Olatoye Ojo.
