The Commissioner of Police in Akwa Ibom State, CP Olateyo Durosinmi has decorated 132 senior police officers newly promoted in the command.
At the ceremony last week at the command headquarters, Ikot Akpanabia in Uyo, CP Durosinmi conveyed the congratulatory message of the Inspector General Police, IGP, Acting IGP Kayode Egbetokun to the newly promoted officers.
CP Durosinmi also thanked the IGP and the Police Service Commission for finding the promoted Officers worthy of elevation.
He charged them to redouble their efforts in crime fighting to further enhance the peace and security of Akwa Ibom State.
Among those promoted was ACP Samuel Akpan, the Officer-in-Charge of X-Squad in the Command, who thanked the IGP, the PSC and the CP for finding them worthy of elevation.
