NDE Empowers 50 Youth With Advanced Agricultural Training In Kaduna

National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has commenced a three-day training programme for 50 unemployed youth in Kaduna. 

The initiative, known as the Post Sustainable Agricultural Development Training Scheme, aims to equip participants with modern agricultural techniques and knowledge to excel in the agricultural business.

The state coordinator, Alhaji Ahmed Kawuri, conveyed the message of the NDE’s Director-General, Alhaji Abubakar Nuhu-Fikpo, emphasizing the importance of this advanced training. 

He explained that last year, a similar training was conducted, and this year’s program aims to build upon those foundations, showcasing state-of-the-art equipment and practices. 

He said the NDE is dedicated to empowering participants and helping them succeed in their chosen fields.

Idris Abubakar, the head of the Rural Employment Promotion department, congratulated the participants and urged them to make the most of this valuable opportunity. 

He said the NDE is deeply invested in their success and will provide guidance on the necessary steps to achieve their goals.

Beneficiaries of the training expressed their appreciation to the NDE for this initiative, acknowledging that it will significantly enhance their employability. 

Abdullahi Muhammad, who opted to learn about poultry farming, aims to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the business.

 Another participant, Bobai Irimiya, hopes to gain insights into agricultural entrepreneurship and cooperative formation.
