NBAIS  Committed To Credible Examinations – Registrar

The National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) has expressed its commitment towards conducting credible examinations.

Speaking on behalf of the Registrar, Prof. Yahuza Sulaiman Imam, the Ag. Director of Administration and Human Resources Management of the board, Dr. Abdulrashid Salman described the recent directives of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to universities and other tertiary institutions as well as the directives of Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria to its affiliate institutions to accept Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary Schools Certificate Examination (SAISSCE) results for admission into their respective institutions as a great achievement and a welcome development. 

Dr. Salman explained that NBAIS  is an independent examination body under the Federal Ministry of Education, conducting both internal and external examinations for SAISSCE candidates who are preparing for tertiary education.

He disclosed the appreciation of the registrar for the strong support being enjoyed from the Ministry of Education, stakeholders and staff of the board, which undoubtedly strengthens operations and ensures greater efficiency. 

The registrar assured the general public that, the board will continue to operates within it’s mandates.

Speaking on the current staff verification exercise which is jointly conducted by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and the Federal Ministry of Education, Dr. Salman said it is aimed at having an accurate  record of the board’s personnel for eventual regularization with the apex office.
