Nasarawa APC Suspends  Commissioner, Ex-Lawmaker, Others Over Alleged Misconduct

The Nasarawa State Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Mallam Yakubu Lawal-Addah has been suspended from the governing All Progressives Congress (APC). 

Lawal-Addah was suspended alongside others over alleged inhuman behaviour and breach of Article 21 B of the party constitution as amended.

The chairperson of the party in Nassarawa Eggon Electoral Ward, Mrs Esther Kasa made this known in a letter after a meeting of the EXCO. 

Others include Habibu Musa Agah, Usman Musa Sambu Agah, Ibrahim Andafu, Augustine Achuku, Jummai Bade, Adamu Nuhu Allu, Aminu El-Yaku and Alhaji Achuku. 

The party leadership in Alushi/Ginda ward also suspended a former member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA), Mr Raymond Akolo over alleged sponsoring  of thugs to attack APC members during its meeting in Ginda.

This was contained in a letter signed by the Chairman, Joseph W. Yigom and Secretary, Friday Joseph respectively.

Others suspended from the party in the ward include, Garba Ali Jatau, Youth Leader; Opah John, Local Government EXCO and Mr Thomas Otso. 

Similarly, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule, Musa Ibrahim Ayas has also been suspended from the governing party in his Alogani Electoral ward over alleged attacking of APC members with thugs during its meeting. 

The Chairman of the party in the ward, Mr. Haliru Umar Alaku, among other Executives announced the suspension.

Others suspended include Salihu Mohammed Egga, Usman Offor, Hon Mohammed Sule, Akolo Adamu Abugu, Shuaibu Ibrahim, Salihu Yaka and Mustapha Yakubu.

The Councilor representing Mada Station at the Nassarawa Eggon Legislative Arm, Kasimu Madaki; LG Legal Adviser, Yusuf Ibrahim Jatau and ward Legal Adviser Haruna Ahmadu Marafa have been suspended from the party in Mada station electoral ward for alleged causing of disunity and interrupted APC meeting with thugs.

The Chairman of the party, Idris Mohammed Magaji among other EXCOs in the ward signed their suspension. 

In Kagbu, the Councilor representing the ward at the Nassarawa Eggon Legislative Arm, Kasimu Alu; Deputy Chairman, Luka Akawu; Assistant Women Leader, Cecilia Enwongulu; Treasurer, Solomon Manga; Welfare Secretary, Sunday Abimiku; Ex-officio 1, Anzaku Joel; Assistant Treasurer, Moses Kutsa; Akwashiki Peter, Polycarp Anzaku and Margret Nuhu were suspended with immediate effect and indefinitely. 

The Chairman, APC Kagbu ward, Mr Solomon Memme, and Mr Yohanna Kefas, the Secretary of the party in the ward signed the suspension over alleged act of insurbodination and non adherence to party constitution.

In Ubbe ward, Mr Friday Ayuba, Local Government Assistant Treasurer; Abuja Abashi, ward secretary; Madaki Joel Anzaku, Treasurer and Likita Bala, the ward Youth Leader were suspended  from the party over alleged misappropriation of funds and attacking members during party meeting.

In Ende ward, Yohanna Audu, Local Government Assistant Youth Leader; Josephine Ataka, Ishaya Bitrus, Dogara Doma and Abdullahi Likita were suspended over alleged anti-party activities and causing confusion in the party.

Similarly, the party leadership in Umme electoral ward suspended Ahmed Chidawa, Governor Sule’s Personal Assistant; Aminu Adamu, Youth Leader; Ibrahim Yakubu, Legal Adviser; Ibrahim Mohammed Gbadu, Organising Secretary; Halidu Ahmadu, Assistant Organising Secretary; Ahmadu Waziri, Assistant PRO; Saadati Safiyanu, Assistant Woman Leader; Umar Haruna, Ex-officio 1; Usman Isa Aboh, Assistant Financial Secretary; Musa Audu, Assistant Youth Leader and Musa Ezzi over alleged breaches of party constitution.

The Chairman of APC, Agunji ward, Isa Attah Ogbuhe,  among other EXCOs have suspended Sunday Soja, Local Government Ex-officio; Peter Ablaku, ward PRO; Danlami Amos,  Julius Kagbu, Saidu Musa and Hon. Akpomoshi Usman Allu from the party in the ward over alleged causing confusion in the party in the area.

It would be reported that the chairmen and other EXCos, who signed the suspension letters from the 9 wards have copied all organs of the party from the ward to State levels.
