The President of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency Gottfried Geingob will deliver the pre-convocation lecture of the 7th Nasarawa State University, Keffi, convocation ceremony at a date to be made public soon.
Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed announced the development while hosting Deans and Directors of the University to an Iftar (Ramadan fast-breaking) at the Vice-Chancellor’s lodge on Tuesday evening.
The convocation which was recently postponed, the VC said the reasons for the change in date for the 7th Convocation ceremony was to allow for proper arrangements and synergy with the Presidency to receive the visiting Namibian President and top government functionaries who will grace the ceremony.
The Vice-Chancellor used the occasion to thank Deans and Directors for their immeasurable contributions to the growth and development of the University, noting that their sacrifices in the period under review are well appreciated.
The Iftar was graced by Principal Officers, Dean,s and Directors amongst other staff of the University.
