One of the most difficult things to maintain in life as an individual is consistency of character or continuity of a course. This is particularly true of many Nigerian politicians. Time and events have proven to be a major character changer of political office holders in Nigeria.
Thousands of articles and gazettes are abound in political literature to substantiate this fact. What is usual is that Nigerians cannot predict who a politician might transform into after being entrusted with a political power.
In fact, in Nigerian political lexicon, it is believed that you cannot tell who a politician is until he is elected. In other words, power reveals the true character of a politician.
For the first time after so many years of political gyrations, history is being rewritten in the annal of Kaduna Central political records. We now have a man of a special breed who has taken it upon himself to adequately salvage the plight of his constituents.
That this man has remained unchanged in character and action before and after being elected the senator, is what is actually newsy about this epistle. Instead, he has, in fact, continued to wax even stronger and stronger over a course he believes is necessary for the prosperity of the people he represents.
Of course, many people may have come across some write ups concerning the philanthropic strides of the current Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District and the Chairman Senate Committee on Education, by the name of Senator. Lawal Adamu Usman, it is necessary to remind the public, as well as share Mr LA story with the younger generation in Kaduna Central Senatorial District.
There’s no debating about the fact that Kaduna Central Senatorial District has never produced a senator that can match the records of Sen. Lawal Adamu Usman in terms of generosity, empowerment strides, doggedness and responsible leadership.
Long before becoming a senator, Sen. Usman, through the LA Care Foundation, has an overwhelming number of achievements that will go down the public gazettes as the most laudable and people-oriented initiatives in Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone.
Let us attempt to chronicle some of the most commendable giant strides that Mr. LA has been able to carry out through the LA Care Foundation.
To begin with, the foundation has trained and Empowered fourty two thousand (42,000) youth and women across the Central Senatorial Zone, paid for NECO, WAEC and JAMB fees for 500 students in the 2019-2020 examinations in the Zone.
Mr. LA has also awarded scholarship to 500 students in KASU, Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic and College of Education Gidan Waya (Kafanchan).
In a related development, he has released funds for the conduct of Local government election across the seven local governments areas under the Zone.
And when it comes to donations, Senator Lawal Adamu Usman is always in the forefront. For example, Mr. LA donated vehicles to Igabi Local Government PDP party Chairman, by the name of Hon. Danazumi, for the smooth running of the party activities. Just as he made donation of three vehicles to 3 party men; who are: Hon. Zubairu Shan’una, Charles Taylor and Hon. Mohammed Momzee, all from the PDP Campaign Council.
Also, he donated a vehicle to Hon. Stephen Katung, the Chikun Local Government Youth Leader for smooth operations, donated a bike to Danlami Gurgu Gadan Gayan of Igabi Local Government and gave a vehicle to Ebenz Zino, Aisha Galadima, and Jibril Saleh Ladan, for smooth running of the party activities.
Mr. LA also donated a trailer of rice during the Ramadan period across the Zone, as well as other donations too many to mention.
In the same vein, Mr. LA made financial contributions for the successful conduct of Sanga and Kagarko Bye Elections of the party and also donated 10 motorcycles, 20 Android mobile phones to some members of media team for smooth running of operations.
Similarly, he gave cash donations to the entire wards and local govt executives members across the zone during the 2021 ramadan festivity. He subsequently gave rams during the Eid Adha to stakeholders across the Zone.
Cash donation is another area in which the serving senator is known for.
For instance, he donated the sum of N1,000,000 to victims of FCE Zaria shop demolition and another N10,000,000 as COVID-19 relief package for the people across the Central Zone.
Sponsorship to the Holy pilgrimage is another area in which the serving senator has invested heavily in. Both before and after being elected Senator of the Federal Republic, Mr. LA has continued to sponsor uncountable number of people in Central Zone to both Umrah and Hajj every year.
The individuals who have been privileged to perform this very important religious task through him are so many and the number keeps increasing as we speak.
From one ward to another, payment of Lesser Hajj to people in Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone by Senator Lawal Adamu Usman has been unprecedented highly commendable. For the avoidance of the doubt, Mr. LA has issued lesser Hajj ticket (Umrah) to :

Also, empowerment of people in his constituency is another feat no one has been able to match in the political history of the Central Zone. In this 2024 alone, Senator Lawal Adamu Usman has so far grant a start up capital of five hundred thousand Naira to about 200 people in Kaduna Central Senatorial District.
This is verifiable and we can confirm that the number of beneficiaries might increase because judging from his antecedence, Mr. LA is very compassionate politician whose generosity knows no bounds.
Again, what about the recently Issuance of scholarships and bursaries to so many students in Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone in this 2024? and the sum of fifty million naira shared to his to his constituents for the 2024 Eidel-fitr festivities, the Christmas and the Easter celebrations?
One can only wonder what kind of a politician is this man who has refused to change from been a kind-hearted individual either before or after being elected the senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The fact that his emergence was tough particularly, during the primary election with a lot of court cases right from the primary election up to the point of becoming the party flag bearer always make people wonder how those events have not been able to deter the Senator from being compassionate and accountable to the people of the senatorial district.
Senator Lawal Adamu Usman is indeed the kind of politician we need in this country for things to get better and the lives of every common man touched in a positive way.
