Our correspondent gathered that the event which is expected to attract several dignitaries to Abuja, is billed for the prestigious Sheraton Hotels and Towers.

At the event scheduled for the Ladi Kwali Hall,  the theme is, “Exploring the contemporary challenges facing pastoralism and Fulbe with the view of proffering workable

solutions in curbing insecurity across the nation.”

An invitation seem by our correspondent said, “Miyyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association Of Nigeria (MACBAN) In conjunction with Northern Consensus Movement (NCM) welcomes the invited guests and general public to its first National Security Summit On  Pastoralism In Nigeria.”

It was gathered that the summit will be held on June 1, 2022 and will be declared open by 10am prompt.

When contacted on phone, Secretary of the organising  committee, Mr. Baba Othman Ngelzerma said that they decided to pool resources together in view of deteriorating security situations in the country, especially as it affects cattle breeders and by extension the entire country through disruption of economic activities.

” We were compelled to summon this summit to fashion the best logical way out of the problem that will translate to greater prosperity for Nigerians,” he said.
