Massive Crowd Throngs Katsina PDP Gubernatorial Campaign In Jibia

Massive crowd  of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)  supporters in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State trooped out en masse to receive the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke on campaign rally ahead of this year’s general elections in the area.

Senator Lado Danmarke  while addressing the mammoth crowd,  thanked people of Jibia  area for the massive turnout, saying that, “We have been received very well in Jibia like all the local government councils visited earlier.”

Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke at event,  received over one thousand and seventy  decampees from All Progressives Congress (APC) to PDP, under Alhaji Abdulhamidu Jibia.

Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke expressed optimism that, “PDP will win elections.”promised that, he would not disappoint Katsina state.

Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke said when elected governor, he would ensure full utilization of Jibia Dam, reconstruct General Hospital Jibia, prioritize  youth and women empowerment, reopen  borders in the state and address issues of banditry and kidnapping.

Senator Danmarke reiterated commitment to providing potable drinking  water and  fertilizer to farmers in the state at affordable prizes.

He charged people in the state to ignore promises made by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), noting that, “The APC has failed to deliver.”

Earlier, Director, Campaign Council for Atiku and Lado in Katsina State, Dr. Mustapha Mohammed Inuwa emphasized that, Jibia as a commercial border town has almost became a “ghost town with no business as usual. “

Dr Mustapha Mohammed Inuwa reiterated the importance of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as president of this country and Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke as Governor of Katsina State respectively.

Dr. Mohammed Inuwa assured that, issues of insecurity, border reopening and hunger would be addressed for economic development of the nation.

Former Council Chairman of Jibia local government, Alhaji Aminu Maye Jibia recalled the developmental projects executed during PDP governments in the state, in addition to human empowerment and development, business activities at the Jibia and Magama borders with Maradi State in Niger Republic.

Alhaji Aminu Maye Jibia expressed disappointment on the lack of utilization of Jibia Dam and educational backwardness in the area, due to banditry and kidnapping activities, appealing to people of Jibia Local Government  Area to vote wisely for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
