Late Olubadan for burial Saturday February, 12

Governor Abiola Ajimobi yesterday hinted that the late Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade will be buried on Friday February 12, 2016.
The governor dropped this hint during his visit to the palace of the late Olubadan at Monatan area of Ibadan.
According to Governor Ajimobi, the funeral rites for the late Oba Odugade would commence on Saturday February 6, and that a planning committee to handle the burial arrangements had been set up for a state burial for the late monarch.
Governor Ajimobi declared that the late Olubadan was “an accomplished human being by all standards’’ whose virtues would be replicated in every other appointed Olubadan.
Then governor urged the people of Ibadan and the entire Oyo State to support the state government in giving the late monarch a befitting burial.
Welcoming the governor into the late Olubadan’s palace, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, High Chief Lekan Balogun, lauded Governor Ajimobi for his commitment to give the late monarch a befitting burial.
