The Customary Court of Appeal sitting in Kaduna on Thursday, delivered judgement dismissing the Appeal of an Appellant and affirmed the judgment of Upper Customary Court GRA, Zaria in the Appeal of Yohanna Dauda and 15 others Vs Yusuf Bala in Appeal No. CCA/KAD/8A/2022 on five plots of land.
Delivering the judgment, Hon. Justice Linda Yaroson of the Customary Court of Appeal Kaduna State said, “the Court has affirmed the earlier Judgement of the Upper Customary Court GRA, Zaria.”
The judgement therefore, is in favour of the respondent, just as the lower Court confirmed that he is the bonafide owner of all the five disputed plots of land at Tawakiri, in Makarfi Local Government area of Kaduna State.
Commenting on the Judgement, lawyer for Yusuf Bala the respondent, Barrister Usman Shehu said the judgment of the two courts have done justice on the matter before them.
