KURANGA 2012 Set In Bauchi Picks New Officers

KURANGA Old Boys Association of Government College Azare in Bauchi state has been described as a veritable tool for the development and maintenance of cordial relationship, peace and stability in the society.
 
The patron of Gamawa Students Association (GASA) Special School, Azare Chapter, Mal. Abubakar Musa gave the description at the KURANGA Old Boys Association (2012) Set Second General Annual Meeting held at Special School Azare.
 
Mal. Abubakar who expressed happiness on the attendance of the Old Boys, called on them to be good ambassadors of themselves, their
families and Government College Azare, and shun away from anything that will jeopardize their reputation in the society.
 
During the meeting, the association conducted election of officials that will run its affairs for the next two years where Zayyad Musa Gotal was elected as President, Musa Muhammad Inuwa as Vice President, Jamilu Abdullahi as Secretary General, Ibrahim Usman Gamawa as Assistant Secretary General and Dahiru Muhammad Abubakar as Financial Secretary.
 
Others were Muhammad Aliyu as treasurer, Sadik Bakura Baba as Organizing Secretary, Mu’azu A. Sagir as Auditor, Salim Muhammad Misau as Publicity Officer I and Ibrahim Adamu Jajere as Publicity Officer II.
 
Handing over the mantle of leadership to the newly elected officials, the outgoing caretaker committee chairman of the association, Bello Muhammad Bello Katagum urged them to always ensure strict compliance to the adopted constitution, and exercise patient and seek advice in all their doings so as to record the needed success.
 
The newly elected President Zayyad Musa Gotal has in a vote of thanks pledged to carry everybody along, and hoped that the already existing tolerance, love and cooperation for one another among the members will be maintained.
