Katsina UBE Chairman Reiterates Commitment Of State Government In Delivering Basic Education

Executive Chairman of Katsina State Universal Basis Education (UBE) Board, Alhaji Lawal Buhari Daura has reiterated the commitment of the state government in the delivery of basic education across 34 local government areas in the state. 

Alhaji Buhari Daura stated this in Abuja when he made a presentation at the National Day of Public Commendation on APC Revolution. 

He said Katsina State was honored as the best state in the implementation of Basic Education in North West of the country. 

The award was conferred on Katsina State by the All Progressives Congress (APC) News Online at Barcelona Hotel Abuja. 

The award is aimed at boosting the moral of APC State Government’s efforts in the area of UBE programme. 

Alhaji Lawal Buhari maintained that all successes recorded were as a result of the interest and commitment of the state government under the dynamic leadership of Governor Aminu Bello Masari. 

The chairman revealed that the state government has already released its counterpart funds for the year 2020 and 2021.

 Also speaking at the programme, the Executive Secretary Universal Basic Education Commission Abuja, Dr. Hammeed Bobboyi, represented by the Deputy Executive Secretary, Professor Bala Zakari described the award programme as a booster to states in the delivery of UBE programmes.
