Katsîna: Newly Recruited Teachers Of Mani,  Malumfashi Receive Appointment  Letters

The newly recruited teachers of Mani and Malumfashi Zones have received their permanent appointment letters in a colourful ceremony.

In Mani Zone, the event which was held at the Local Education Authority’s Headquarters, comprised seven local government areas, includng, Mani, Bindawa, Mashi, Dutsi, Ingawa and Kusada.

Speaking at the occasion, Mani Local Government Chairman, Dr. Yunus Muhammad Bagiwa who described the recruitment as a historic not only in the state but the country in general, said is a clear indication of Governor Radda-led administration of transforming education at the grassroots.

Dr. Yunus Muhammad Bagiwa stressed the need for the new teachers to be punctual to serve as role model as teaching is a backbone of providing productive leaders in the society.

In a remark, Mani Education Secretary, Malam Murtala Muhammad Muduru applauded the state government for recruiting new teachers which would assist in reducing unemployment as well as addressing insecurity in the society.

He advised them to be more committed in discharging their assigned duty to reciprocate the gesture.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Yakubu Malami extended gratitude to the state government for considering the S-POWER, casual and voluntary staff during the recruitment exercise, assured to justify the confidence response on them.                                          

 In Malumfashi Zone,     Chairman of the Local Government Council, Alhaji Maharazu Adamu Dayi while distributing the appointment letters, applauded the concerted efforts of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda in repositioning the Education Sector in the State.

Alhaji Maharazu Adamu Dayi who represented his colleagues, also said that through the recruitment exercise of over seven thousand teachers in the state, they would be able to bridge the gap of shortage of teachers.

Earlier, the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Kabir Magaji revealed that the present Administration would not relent its efforts in ensuring close monitoring of the teachers while discharging their work

He added that the newly recruited teachers were lucky to have been engaged for five day capacity building training before their reporting to their places of assignment.

In his address of welcome, the Education Secretary of Malumfashi Local Government Education Authority, Alhaji Musa Ibrahim called on the teachers to reciprocate the gesture by cooperating and discharging their duties very diligently.

He then assured them that after their training the Local Government Education Authority would post them in their area of locations and in the best interest of the local government education authority (LGEA) and the teachers.
