Senator representing Katsina Central Senatorial Zone, Lieutenant Colonel, Abdul’ Aziz Musa Yar’adua (Rtd) has been appreciated over his concern on insecurity and payment of registration fees to students of various tertiary institutions across the country.
Vice Chancellor of Federal University Dutsinma, Professor Armaya’u Bichi made this known when he received Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua on a courtesy Visit in his office.
Professor Armaya’u Bichi explained that the concern shown by Senator Musa Yar’adua on the recent abduction of students of the University can not be over emphasise.
The VC however, emphasised the commitment of the university to render possible assistance free of charge to the Senator planned training programme for youth, particularly on agriculture and livestock production.
Professor Bichi reiterated the university’s readiness to train the students in that regard and even planned to serve them with certificates that would pave them opportunity to train others.
Earlier, the Senator said he was in the University to extend his appreciation over the
Promotion of his brother Dr. Umar Mamman to Associate Professor by the University.
Senator Yar’adua also appreciated the efforts of the VC for rebranding the University and the subsidy to students while registration as well as thanking the VC for pledging to render him assistance free of charge on his proposed training programme.
Speaking, Associate Professor Umar Mamman thanked the Senator on his unscheduled visit and his concern on education which led to rendering assistance to students to settle registration fees.
Senator Abdul’Aziz Yar’adua was accompanied by Alhaji Tanimu Garba Gwarjo, MD KASSAROMA Engineer Sirajo Yazid Abukur, Major Yahaya Rimi, S A to the State Governor, Aminu Maigoro, Chairman APC Dutsinma Local Government Area and other Special Assistants.
